Idol kicks off on campus

West Liberty’s Housing and Resident Life office is organizing a West Liberty version of American Idol on campus.

The talent competition kicked off in the ballroom of the Student Union on Thursday, Feb. 16. Twelve students competed in the student filled ballroom for the audition rounds. The eight students pictured above were the competitors chosen to continue on to the next round.

Boyd Hall Director, Kyle Cook is hosting West Liberty Idol and Jordan Hayden, Rogers Hall Director, is assisting in the planning of the event.

West Liberty Idol will be held for the next three weeks in the Student Union. The sing-off took  place on Feb. 23rd and will continue on March 1st and 8th at 7:30 p.m.
