The NAIH has named three West Liberty hockey club players to the All-American Team.

Paul Henry, a sophomore who was also named to the Academic All-American team is the team captain who led the team in points this season and last season.

He is majoring in General Business and his minor is Geography.

“Being named an All-American is an honor that I greatly appreciate. The season didn’t go quite like we planned, but we all had a great time and we are getting our name out there,” Henry said.

“Although All-American is an individual award, I think the team deserves most of the credit. If it weren’t for the rest of the team, the three of us wouldn’t be able to accomplish what we did to be named All-Americans.”

Henry played in 15 games and contributed three goals and had five assists in his playing time. He led the team  points with 8.

Sophomore Keltus Emmerth was also named to the Academic All-American team. Last semester, he had a 4.0 and is a Golf Management major.

He is a transfer from Marshall University.  He played in 13 games this year and had one assist.

A senior transfer from Wheeling Jesuit, Jordan Demuth is on the All–American team.

Demuth is the alternate captain for the team and led the team in goal scoring this year with five and had two assists.

Congratulations to these athletes on their accomplishments.
