It’s the beginning of April and the only thing that comes to the mind of sports fans is the fact that baseball season is here.
Baseball has not been one of my favorite sports, but that would never stop me from going to a professional baseball game.
Actually, that is one of my favorite summer activities.
Plus, I have grown up around baseball with my brother being on a travel team, so I know the game.
What is better than going on a small road trip with your friends, sitting back and relaxing on a nice summer day at a ball park?
I have been to quite a few Cleveland Indians’, Pittsburgh Pirates’ and Cincinnati Reds’ games.
Heck, I’ve been to Wrigley Field to watch the Chicago Cubs play a couple times.
Every time go to a ball park it is always exciting.
One of my favorite moments at a game was when Sammy Sosa hit a homerun as a Chicago Cub to move up on the all-time home run list.
The thing that makes ballgames so enjoyable is the atmosphere.
Also the price does not take a heavy toll in your wallet. Well that is if you do not buy too much stadium food.
So if you want to have a small, one day adventure with your friends why not go to your local ball park?
I hope this year my friends and I can make plans to go.
